New Upcoming Artists

This is a new thing I will be doing once or twice a month.

nevershoutnever!: nevershoutnever! has a great chance at being in the top 10. With their great beats, and catchy tunes, nevershoutnever! AKA; Christofer Ingle makes it very easy to sing right along with him. His songs aren't too crazy, but exciting at the same time. Unoriginal and fresh. Simple, but also at the same time very deep. I highly reccommend this artist.
My favorite 2 songs by them; BIGCITYDREAMS and TROUBLE.

Stereo Skyline!: Stereo Skyline! makes their music fun and enjoyable. Will not disappoint. Relatively unheard of and new. Their music is Plain and simple, yet carries a strong message. Stereo Skyline! knows what their doing when they make music. I highly reccommend this band too.
My favorite 2 songs by them; HEARTBEAT and UPTOWN, GET AROUND.

Top 10 iTunes song, 4/11/09

As of now the Top 10 iTunes songs for 4/11/09 are;

1) Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas: After a 4 year hiatus, it's great to see the Black Eyed Peas back. But this song really has no point. All it does is repeat the same 'Boom Boom Pow' the whole song. I'll admit, it has a great beat, but some pretty lame lyrics and message.

2) Poker Face - Lady Gaga: Poker Face has a wonderful beat, catchy lyrics, and a great tune. But the lyrics are basically pointless. They don't mean anything to the listener, but I myself am a fan of Lady Gaga even if she is kind of pointless.

3) The Climb - Miley Cyrus: Good beat, good vocals, a meaningful message in my point of view. I very much enjoy this song. One of the best Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana songs she has put out there.

4) Right Round - Flo Rida: Yet another catchy rap song about girls. It has really no point, but a good beat. It is a matter of opinion. If you like a song with a loud synthesizer, catchy hooks and repitition this is the song for you.

5) Day 'n' Nite - Kid Cudi: This song basically only says the words 'Day and Night' the whole song. It really should'nt be EXPLICIT because you can't understand any other words besides 'Day and Night'. Lets just say, this song would get really old, really fast.

6) Hoedown Throwdown - Miley Cyrus: This song is mainly used for parties I would presume. It's like MC Jig's 'Cha Cha Slide' But I find this song better by far. I like the beat to this song, but the lyrics are pointless unless your trying to learn the dance.

7) You Found Me - The Fray: Good piano, good vocals, and good lyrical meanings. It talks about why bad things have to happen to good people. Beautiful music break with just vocals and piano. A great song.

8) Kiss Me Thru The Phone - Soulja Boy Tell'Em: I am a musician and I have a keen ear for good music, this wasn't it. All of Soulja Boy's songs have the same rhyme schemes just in a different key. He has the lyrical ability of a 7th grader. Great beat, bad song.

9) Blame It - Jamie Foxx (Ft. T-Pain): T-Pain teams up with Jamie Foxx and creates one pointless song. Blame it on the ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-alcohol, very pointless. I haven't heard much Jamie Foxx, but if this was his only song, I wouldn't listen to him again. Once again, great beat, horrid song.

10) Gives You Hell - All American Rejects: A great choice for their first single. The 'Move Along' of this album. Some may be disappointed due to the lack of guitar solo's, but the power chords in the chorus are wonderful. A great song.
